I washed my chemically straightened hair too early!! HELP!!?

The hairdresser told me to wash it the day after with just conditioner and I thought that was a little suspicious so I waited till the morning after the day after if that makes sense. I washed it and got out to blow dry it, and it's a bird's nest. It's not matted but it's the driest my hair has ever been and it's lifeless. It's as if it completely burn and shriveled. What do I do?!
